All About the Microscope

It is one of the oldest and most common scientific instruments out there.  Most of the time, it was the first one you were really able to play with too — the microscope.  I remember getting a small one as a kid and taking everything from paper to pond water and sticking it under there just to see what amazing things I could see at a high magnification.  Makes me want to do that right now, actually!!
