What Does Alcohol Do to Your Body? – Infographic

What Alcohol Does to Your Body

Last week I featured an infographic on what happens to your body when you drink a cup of coffee (found here).  Following up on that theme, today’s infographic explains what happens to your body as you consume alcohol.  Each drink consumed (defined at the top of the graphic) will increase both the visual external impairments and affect internal changes in your body.  It is important to know and understand how alcohol functions in the body to know when to not only stop drinking yourself, but when someone around you may need serious help. The Basics of Curling – Infographic

The Basics of Curling

Continuing with the Winter Olympics theme, today’s infographic explains the basic rules and characteristics of the game of curling.  Dating back to 16th century Scotland, the game was first played on frozen lochs, but today has been more standardized and is played in indoor arenas.  First played in the 1924 Olympics, curling was gone again as a medal sport until the 1998 Nagano Games (Curling in the Olympics).  Unfortunately, here in the US, the sport is only a once every four years phenomenon, but the devotion to it is a testament to the intricacy of the game, the strategy, precision, gamesmanship — not to mention fun pants.
