About

Short for New Jersey Bibliotheca, the purpose of NJBiblio is to help provide teachers, librarians, homeschoolers, and students with a toolbox full of useful sites, tips, and tricks that will help bring more technology and web resources into your lessons and teaching.  I’ve also recently branched out into reviewing books, because how can we forget the books?

It’s tough trying to scour the web to find safe, useful, and content rich sites and my goal is to do some of that legwork for you.  I am but a humble school librarian in rural South Jersey and am dealing with the same issues and requests for information and help that educators everywhere face.  If you find anything useful, please take it, but remember to cite correctly and give proper credit, both to me and to the original content.

If I have featured your site and you would rather it not be used, please let me know.  All images are taken from the site being featured each day when appropriate and is meant only to provide a snapshot of the site with no ill-intent or deliberate infringement.

If you have a site or app you would like to see featured, please let me know!

I’d like to show your “social media chart about baseball” on my blog – not a repost, but with my own commentary, with full disclosure to your website. Question? Where are you located? Do you have a favorite team? Great blog – thanks for posting it.

No problem, feel free! I am located in New Jersey, home in Woodstown and I’ve been a lifelong fan of the Philadelphia Phillies.

      Thanks for looking!

Using gaming to develop student’s interest in history allows them to experience it instead of just memorizing facts. Mr. Harms, History Teacher and developer of History Simulations, HistorySimulation.com Please consider adding my site to your page-Thanks, Dave
