It’s amazing how resilient nature is and how it will always find a way to reclaim what man has made for itself. It makes you wonder just how this car made it to the middle of the woods, or even what was there before the forest made its move to claim the area.
From Reddit user /u/BillNyesEyeGuy (the photographer) this photo was taken at “Hurtado Point, near Lund.” in British Columbia, Canada.

I absolutely love these images of abandoned structures, and the hobby of urban exploration (even though I do not partake myself). Getting a snapshot of a life suddenly left behind and the way that nature always comes in and reclaims what man has made in various ways will always fascinate me.
From Reddit user /u/brosofdecay (the photographer): “It was a little cozy home in Luxembourg and it has been abandoned for around 20-30 years now. A man and a woman used to live here but they both passed away.”

When Do You Abandon Your Books?
All readers have their own opinion on when to give up on a book — if at all. Goodreads surveyed their users recently to see when readers choose to abandon books and why. Also included are the top titles that they have found marked “not finished” or “abandoned”. I know I find it tough to stop reading once I’ve started…how about you? What is your rule of thumb for when close a book that’s just now working for you and move on to another?
