It’s amazing how resilient nature is and how it will always find a way to reclaim what man has made for itself.  It makes you wonder just how this car made it to the middle of the woods, or even what was there before the forest made its move to claim the area.

From Reddit user /u/BillNyesEyeGuy (the photographer) this photo was taken at “Hurtado Point, near Lund.” in British Columbia, Canada.

This is absolutely beautiful  It’s not often you get to see behind  a waterfall to begin with (aside from the glimpse of “the backside of water” on the Jungle Cruise!) but to see it completely frozen is a stunning visual.  These falls are located in Minnehaha Regional Park in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Lifespans in the Animal Kingdom — Infographic

Lifespans in the Animal Kingdom

Today’s infographic is a great summary of the variety of life we see not only in the species and creatures in the world, but also the variety of  their lives.  It’s very interesting to see lifespans laid out in this way, and to see that humans really are essentially on the high end of the middle of the pack.  I am sure, however, as medicine and care advances we will see ourselves moving into the high end of lifespans.  Would you care to be like the immortal jellyfish though?  [VIA]
